We believe that human life is sacred, and the the dignity of the individual person must serve as the central ethic upon which our society is built. We believe that life is sacred from the moment of conception to the moment of natural death.

We all have a right and duty to participate in the full life of our society—including in our politics. Subsidiarity empowers this participation and is a central principle of Catholic political thought—the principle holds that issues ought to be handled by the smallest, least centralized competent authority possible. That the federal government should not interfere in a matter that is rightly and most responsibly handled by a family, or a community, or a city, or a province.
