We are an independent, non-partisan organization devoted to the formation of all Catholics, and others of good will, for full civic participation in accordance with the social teachings of the Catholic Church. Our hope is to focus all social discourse on the resolution of social issues in ways that are good for humans, for the earth, and for all Creation – in ways that will be pleasing to the Creator of all. We want to bring the Good News of Christ to the very center of the civic conversation.

We meet people on their own ground, talking to them directly; prepare them by grounding them in the social teachings; and send them forth to work God’s will by gathering people gently, in Christ’s name.

Much of our work is focused on politics, in which we take no sides.  We make no endorsements and encourage no specific social or voting behaviors.  We simply promote reflection on the Christian duties of love, participation, and good stewardship, and send our members out to participate in public life – in whatever way best matches their vocations.

“It is necessary that all participate, each according to his position and role, in promoting the common good… As far as possible citizens should take an active part in public life.”

Catechism of the Catholic Church, nos. 1913, 1915
